The most compact steadicam for GoPro, Xiaomi, SJCAM, GitUp action cameras is Zhiyun Z1-Rider 2. It can be installed on any surface. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a bike’s handlebars, a helmet, a hand, a chest, a pipe or a selfie stick. The device is attached using a 1/4" connector and a standard GoPro mount.

Small sizes will not interfere while moving. The high-power motors of the device are equipped with special encoder sensors, which allow you to obtain high-quality videos without vibrations and shaking, and they also save battery power. Autonomy on a single charge is up to six hours. Power is supplied by two 18350 900 mAh batteries. But for those who don’t have enough time, they can buy a handle extension that replaces 18350 with 18650. Thus, autonomy will increase to 12 hours.

There are several operating modes:

• Heading Follow Mode - two axes are locked, namely forward and backward, left and right. The camera in this mode will always look in one direction. The rotary control remains active.
• Heading & Pitch Follow Mode - the rotary axis is locked when you tilt forward and backward, the lens does not move, while turning, tilting left and right, it follows your movement.
• Heading Lock Mode - complete blocking, gopro will always look in one direction.
