For maximum quality, the manufacturer equipped the camera with a powerful Ambarella H22 S85 processor and an excellent matrix from Sony, namely IMX377 (1/2.3″ CMOS). In addition to supporting 4k 60 fps, the camera can shoot video in Slo-mo at 240 fps in HD. Improved digital zoom allows you to magnify images up to 8x. A convenient touch screen with IPS and a 2.3" diagonal is located in front of the user. The large size makes it more convenient to change settings using the touchscreen, and the high-quality matrix conveys natural colors. On the back there is also a screen, but this time it is a monochrome OLED 0.96 inches. It shows the time recording, mode, as well as how much space the current video takes up and how much space is left, so you can monitor the storage capacity.

The included aquabox allows you to dive underwater to a depth of 30 meters without fear for the safety of your gadget. In addition to protecting against water, it helps protect the camera from dirt, dust, sand, falls and other factors. Using the mount, the device can be attached to a bicycle, helmet and other surfaces using two adhesive pads.

The SJCAM SJ8 Pro already has a built-in excellent microphone that records high-quality stereo sound. Stereo pairing allows you to reduce the amount of noise in videos. In the aquabox the sound does not deteriorate at all. The 6-axis gyro-stabilizer works in tandem with electronic EIS and results in perfect photos and videos without blur, shaking, vibration and other defects.

On the bottom there is a standard 1/4" thread for connecting various accessories for action cameras and more. There is also a cover under which a 1200 mAh battery is hidden. It will last you up to an hour and a half of shooting without the need for charging. For convenient shooting, it is provided voice control. The lens design consists of 7 lenses to eliminate distortion and other artifacts.
