The Insta360 One X2 panoramic camera was designed as a 360-degree system, equipped with two lenses with a viewing angle of 200 degrees each, and a constant aperture of F/2/0. The vertical form factor and thin body allow for the highest quality “stitching” of two images. The process is completely automatic and is controlled by artificial intelligence.

The most interesting thing is the shooting modes, which allow you to realize your creative potential, opening up endless possibilities. Implemented support for HDR mode. The camera takes several frames, combining them into one clear image. This solution allows for improved dynamic range images by providing natural lighting. In Insta360 One X2, the user has four types of shooting:

• Steady Cam – one of two lenses works (you can select the camera and resolution in the menu), providing wide-angle shooting of 150° with good quality;
• 360° mode - automatically combines images from two cameras, and using the editor you can select the desired angle;
• InstaPano – panoramic shooting mode, easy to use;
• MultiView is an excellent solution for bloggers; it simultaneously displays two angles with different fields of view, but still leaves the face in the frame.

Flowstate digital stabilization based on a 6-axis gyroscope compensates for vibrations in the frame. This allows you to refuse to use additional equipment in the form of steadicams.

Design and controls

The rectangular vertical form factor with sleek corners looks great and fits comfortably in the hand. The lenses are located on the same axis, front and rear. Microphones are located at the end, front and back, providing stereo sound recording. In the middle there is a large round touch screen. With it you can make camera settings and preview the material.

Below the display there is a power button, which also turns on recording. The same button is located on the right side. On the left side there is a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm jack. Has a Bluetooth 4.2 module. There is a ¼" screw mount at the bottom. This allows you to use all compatible accessories.

• Reframing. Allows you to crop your video, focusing on certain areas.
• Ghost town. Removes all people in the frame. An ideal solution for photographing landmarks in a metropolis.

Shot Lab's proprietary video editor allows you to edit footage, creating cinematic-quality content. The user has access to a library of more than 300 different templates, which are updated regularly.
