Manufacturers have built an updated capsule into the microphone, which, when used, produces clear and high-quality sound without extraneous noise. The built-in new switch has an LED indicator and 3 digital buttons.The first button when turned on activates the -10dB attenuator, allowing you to record flexible sounds without clipping.
The second button activates the high-pass filter, which reduces low-frequency and subsonic hum from HVAC systems in indoor or outdoor spaces.
The third button turns on the high-frequency boost, which helps improve speech intelligibility during radio broadcasts or when recording films.
The microphone is mounted on the camera body, boom or pocket pistol grip. RODE NTG4+ has a built-in lithium battery that provides the microphone with phantom power for up to 150 hours. Battery charging time is approximately 2:00 via micro USB cable.
